French Operators To Undergo On Site Inspection

Because of the different events and issues that had arised in the previous months of this year, which had struck a part in the online gambling industry and market, more online gambling regulators and different national commissions are tightly making adjustments to prevent similar situations and possible events in the future. Among the countries that had already made actions with regards to this is France.



According to a report at Casinomeister.com, The French National Commission For Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and ARJEL, a well known French online gaming regulator, had argued to team up and inspect online gaming operators with regards to the compliance and regulatory objectives of both parties. The two parties also aimed the said team up to prevent and fight abusive gaming, protection of vulnerable number of populations, and the fight against cybercrimes which had hit number of victims since the start of 2011.

The CNIL and ARJEL will be drawing up an assessment to every online gaming operators, and had promised that anyone found breaching and not following the law and their prohibitions will be sanctioned by the CNIL using their own legitimate powers.
